How to Attach Photos and Images
 
1. Hosting

Host your images with a free image hosting website, such as www.photobucket.com, and copy/paste the code it gives you for forum posting.

Photobucket Tuturial

Photobucket is one of the quickest and easiest ways to post pictures on AP. Here�s a brief tutorial on how to upload your photos to Photobucket.

Step 1:  Go to www.photobucket.com   .  This is what you will see.



Step 2:   Click the green Join Now button, either at the top right or the one in the middle

Step 3:  You will then be directed to a webpage, where you fill in your username and password. When you are done, click Next Step.



Step 4:  Next, fill in the information requested *Cell phone number is optional* When you are done, you can read the Terms of Use and Private Policy if you wish, click I Accept. Sign Me Up!



Step 5: You will be directed to a webpage like the one below. You have successfully register to Photobucket and can start uploading and sharing your photos!



Step 6: To start uploading your photos from your computer, click Choose Files, and a window will pop up. Choose the picture(s) that you want to upload and click Open.



Photobucket will begin uploading your image(s) .



Step 7: You may come across this page when your image(s) have finish uploading. You can skip this or fill it out.



Step 8:  You have successfully uploaded your images! To post the picture on AP, simply hover your mouse over the picture until you see a box with links come up. Copy the last link (IMG Code) and paste it in your message.






DO NOT HOTLINK:  Never link an image from its original location.  This is bandwidth stealing.


2. BBCode

Please use tags in this manner: [tag]Item goes here[/tag] or [tag1=blah][tag2]Item goes here[/tag2][/tag1]

3. Attachments

You can upload an image from your computer by clicking on "additional options" at the bottom of your new post.  Maximum file size per attachment is 35KB, and maximum number of attachments per post is 1.
