Is this something really cruel?  If so, I better not click on the link.     I get very upset reading stuff that are cruel.  Especially to animals and children and anything that is helpless.

The restaurant keeps a goldfish tank in their kitchen....you'll never guess what they feed the fish.  It's a technology site, so nothing graphic or abusive really.  Just sad.

I have seen that before and seen it discussed elsewhere. The fish look ok, but that depends on how long they have been in there, as at the end of the paragraph it says they can live 10 seconds-10 years, depending on how foolish they are!
It is an interesting technological piece though.

Tell me why anyone would want a GF tank THERE????  Couldn't you just be normal and have a nice tank in the dining room????  What will idiots think of next???

I see why the water is down there as it makes sense for the cooking.  Yeah it makes no sense to have the goldies down there except for the restaurant to entertain their guests and to get rid of the excess crumbs.  Since there are a lot of extreme goldfish aficianados in Japan, I bet they get a lot of complaints from them about the cruelty to goldies.  It's amazing that they live 10 years living solely on a diet of deep fried croquette crumbs.   >
