Well I do understand how hard it is to beat last months WINNERS.... Guess they are all chicken to try!

Too bad I can't enter again, I have tons of pics right now. Well thinking about it..... no one has to worry about having the COMPETITION of my beauties this month.... you would think they would be sending the pictures in in droves!!

Wow Three entries.... Well at least not ALL of our members are CHICKEN! Now we only need another 7 entries! I would really like to see a contest with more than 10 entries.... Like a whole bunch...... like 20 or more! I know we have enough members with good looking fish that qualify to enter the contest. Wouldn't that be great??

So come one fishy owners.. get those cameras out and get some good shots of the fishes and get entered into the contest.... unless you are really CHICKEN!! Don't make me come there!

You don't have to have good looking fish or a super camera to be in the contest........ It's all in fun so join in ..... get those pix in. I'm grateful that I won one of these but it wouldnt be the end of the world if I never won one.... it's just FUN!

As far as multiple entries... that would have to be a question for Nickie/TM. I am not sure how that works. If multiple entries were allowed, Bruce and Lari could fill the slots EASY! (so could you Liv

I know it wouldn't be fair. maybe we should lower the number of entries needed until more people are trying to participate. Do 5 or 6 instead of 10 that way it doesn't take forever.

Well at least we would be able to SEE every fish you have that way Bruce..... May take a while at 10 entries per contest, but eventually we would get to see them ALL, not just your favorites!

Seriously though..... I know we have enough members here that meet the requirements for photo entries.... Come on guys get a snap snap snapping those pics and get entering!!

I have been looking for a new job though... maybe Bruce and I should start up our own "fish-tography" business......... What d'ya think Bruce??

PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE!!!! It is almost the 15th of April and the Feb/March contest has not been run yet!! What is wrong with all of you???? I KNOW you (those who qualify) all have fish that can enter this contest and that you have cameras!! Where are the pictures?? I realize that last contest winners are pretty darn hard to beat, but you will never know if you don't enter! Come on, get those cameras out and start taking pictures. We were at seven entries..... only 3 more needed to run this contest!!!

If we don't keep up taking pictures and entering the contest the wonderful admins may just decide to STOP this contest too for lack of entries. I know there are numerous fish out there that have not yet had their photo ops..... but they will never get their chance to win if you as owners don't enter them in the contest.

GET THOSE CAMERAS OUT AND GET SOME PICTURES TAKEN AND GET THEM ENTERED!!!!!! NOW!!! Step away from the computer and take some pictures then get back to the computer, upload, and enter!

If we had more sponsors we could, however, it makes more sense to make sure we are getting enough interest to even have sponsors. Low participation is not very favorable w/actual prizes. If we did it for bragging rights only, we'd prolly have a couple contests each month.

Just a little confused: I got an (automated?) email urging me to enter the photo contest, but on reading the rules I see I don't have enough posts to be eligible yet. Also, I couldn't enter anyhow til I figure out how to get a decent shot with my present digital camera. It goes nuts trying to compensate for glass & water reflections & I can't seem to disable the flash. Anyone have a solution?

Start posting! There's no time frame..you can get up to 35 posts quite quickly if you look around the forums.

I don't know what kind of camera you have but if you cannot diasble the flash, try taping a piece of card over the flash so the light isn't produced from it.

We have a couple new members that have tried to post their photos for the contest here, but please, please, please read the rules ya guys. I don't want to see you waste anymore great photos!!! We CANNOT see them ahead of time on the boards anywhere, so keep those contest photos private and email them, per the rules above.

It's great seeing new interest, so keep posting and get that 35 post requirement out of the way and you can enter as often as you like each contest (unless you win of course).

Thanks LouieDee, I just did a water change so will try to get photos while the water is sparkling & all fish are zooming around happily. Lolafish, I'll keep posting when I have something to contribute, but hate to post something that's off topic, ask stupid questions (I know, I know "there's no stupid questions. . .") or otherwise subject you all to mindless drivel!
