Single-tailed Moor
« on: January 27, 2010, 10:36:26 am »
Where, exactly, would I put one of these guys? They have some at the LFS, a few of them... They have chubby bodies, all black, protruding eyes, and a single tail. Would I mix them with the fancies since they have a bit moor (ha!) waddle? lol Is it mainly a judgement call based on how I see them swim, or has anyone ever had experience mixing these guys? Thanks!

I would just see how they are, swimming based and ability to find food, since their eyes are different too. I have a shubie in with my orandas, but thats pretty even really! lol.
Are they classed as Nymphs?

Not a clue... they don't even have them labeled. I just saw them in a tank full of other moors. They're pretty big, so I guess they get along okay. Maybe I'll pick one up, and after QT see how it does with my guys. They're really neat looking!

Just with the experiences I have had with my teles, I would put them in with fancies.
