Presents from Santa

I'm debating whether to do stockings only for the animals this year, or presents.

I said NO but Lari has been eying stockings for Gracie so I could be very wrong on this

The cats both have stockings, which will be filled with a pack of treats each and a few toys.  My fish got their gift early, a 125g tank!   I might make them some fruit gel food for a Christmas treat.

Aw come on you old Scrooge.  They have so many stockings for dogs these days, ya GOTTA.   
 
What about the fishies?  What do THEY get?

I think Peaches will be getting a friend or two for Christmas (after qt'ing).   The pond gang got themselves a whole new pond so they're set for the rest of their lives.  .

oh man all of my pets get christmas gifts...not just from kyle and me, but from my parents and my sister! The pets get more gifts than we do!

This is very sad... normally the "kids" get all sorts of stuff for christmas (tons of treats and the like) but with all of Keesha's issues it is dangerous to give anyone anything that she might get into... and sereously I have not found a single place in the house to keep things that she has not figured out how to get into. 

So saddly... nothing special for the "kids" this year.

But as a gift to ourselves we are thinking about having Keesha DNAed to find out her breeds.

You just made an idea pop into my head.  Stockings on the pond filled with Romaine lettuce.    We hang a stocking on the horse's barn door for him, so why not?
 
We mainly get gifts for the pets for my son's sake. He is 11yo and still believes in Santa, although we know that's not gonna last.  Just trying to enjoy the last few moments of wonderment and awe that Santa brings to children's lives.

I have 7 tiny socks for each of my birds and a little one for my new goldie this xmas. They were each given a treat of either honey sticks or fruit and nut sticks. Jilly got a little container of tubifex worms  all the prezzies under the tree were for the pets too LOL
