Spring Spawning!

My female Moor and my two Oranda boys are going to be proud daddy's :) They started spawning this morning in the pond, around 6am...After only saving a few on the edge, I decided to hand spawn. PLEASE don't try to hand spawn, unless you have studied and done your homework. PLEASE :goldfish: I have a ton of eggs and milt from the pair..I didn't hand spawn the Hawaii male, because of his previous injury. He did fertilize eggs on his own...It's a waiting game now..I'm gathering eggs since I have the room for the fish..Their in a 1200 gallon pond..Here are the eggs..

No, it brings back nightmares! lol  J/K!  Mine are going in the pond tmrw!!!! :)  I am taking some pics today of me getting it set up and all and tmrw will be the day!

No, it brings back nightmares! lol  J/K!  Mine are going in the pond tmrw!!!! :)  I am taking some pics today of me getting it set up and all and tmrw will be the day!

Well, my nightmare starts later as I have to preform a HUGE wc now :O :O the pond is cloudy..There will be fry hatching in there too. Mother nature will just have to do her job...If I see any young swimming, I'll take them out tho' Gawd, today is an awesome day!

That's all it took for mine! LOL I placed them in yesterday and BOOM, eggs this morning..early too, about 6am

Looks like all the eggs are fertile..many are very clear and others are yellow..no white eggs yet :) Going shopping for baby food soon...

Holy crap thats alot of eggs! I managed to only snag like 4-5 from Georgia's lay. Thats ok though, i dont have a pond...i really only want just ONE little spawn from them...just to keep the legacy going.
