These are some medications and some diseases/symptoms they are used to treat:


Tetracycline:
Columnaris, Gill Disease, Bacterial Infections (sores, ulcers, pop eye, dropsy, tail rot).

Potassium Permaganate (PP):
Flukes, Gill Disease, Columnaris, Fungus, and can be used to sterilize tanks and equipment.

Ampicillin:
Pop Eye, Kidney Disease, Fin Rot, Bacterial Infections, Septicimia, Swollen Body.

Gel Tek:
Penicillin that treats Bacterial Infections, Septicemia, Cloudy Eye, Bulging Eye, Fin Rot, Mouth Sores.

Metro Meds:
Pop Eye, Dropsy, Skinny Fish.

Melafix:
Fin Rot, Tail Rot, Open Wounds, Cloudy Eye, Columnaris.

JumpStart:
This is good to use AFTER a fish has used meds for a disease.  It helps the fish get good bacteria back into their systems to help build their immune systems back up.

Medi-Gold:
Pop Eye, Dropsy, Fungal Diseases.

Life Bearer:
Anchor Worm, Fish Lice, Leeches, Gill Flukes. 

Coppersafe:
Puts a safe level of copper sulfate in tank water treats for any external parasite. make sure to only use 1tsp. per 4 gallons. remains in tank water for 1 month.
